The Climate Corporation was co-founded by Atomico Partner Siraj Kaliq in 2006 with the ambitious mission to help the world’s farmers sustainably increase productivity and adapt to climate change using AI, weather data and digital tools.

The company’s proprietary Climate Technology Platform combines hyper-local weather monitoring, agronomic modeling, and high-resolution weather simulations to deliver Climate Basic and Climate Pro, mobile SaaS solutions that helps farmers improve profitability by making better informed operating and financing decisions.

In October 2013, The Climate Corporation was acquired by Monsanto for $1.1B making it one of the world’s first AI unicorns.
