I've nurtured my curiosity through a European education
I have long had a relentless curiosity and an appetite for learning. Having lived on both sides of the channel between London and Paris, I kicked off my journey by undertaking a degree in Engineering, in an attempt to understand the intricacies of the world. Along the way, I launched and learned from a failed Edtech startup, I completed another Masters degree in a French business school, and lived across multiple European countries making many friends with multicultural backgrounds; which solidified my belief in the future of Europe.
Investing is the perfect combination of conviction and relationship building
I soon realised my passion for investing when I first discovered the excitement of buying public stocks, seeing those bets materialise and trying to find inspiration from renowned investors. After brief stints in Investment Banking and large cap Private Equity, I found my sweet spot in Growth stage investing which is a perfect blend of my interests in investing, technology and working closely with founders.
Having invested across stages there are commonalities in successful businesses
I joined KKR to invest in late-stage technology companies, both as minority and majority shareholders, where I learned the ropes of finding and supporting talented entrepreneurs. I also developed the skills to assess scaled software companies with the discipline of financial analysis, identifying the traits shared by thriving businesses.
Finding the next game changers
I am ultimately passionate about investing and identifying success stories early. At Atomico I am on the lookout for companies with a strong product mindset with a special interest for application and infrastructure software. I'm all in for supporting companies with a visionary outlook, especially those led by founders who've triumphed over adversity.
I am a self-proclaimed food connoisseur and football fanatic
During the weekends (and hopefully a few Tuesday or Wednesday evenings) I am normally busy watching Arsenal play the beautiful game, and I have also more recently picked up boxing. Finally, like any self-respecting Frenchman, I like to think that I can cook but I’ll let others be the judge of that.
