PocketLaw was founded in 2018 by Olga Beck-Friis and Kira Unger. As an M&A lawyer at Mannheimer Swartling, Kira experienced first-hand the archaic nature of the legal industry and how companies lacked an easy and efficient way to solve and manage their legal needs, whereas Olga saw the potential of digital transformation and how other industries had benefited from technology while working as a growth-focused management consultant at McKinsey & Co.

PocketLaw’s leadership team has backgrounds from companies like Slack, Google, Spotify and Klarna. Started in Stockholm and rapidly expanding across Europe including the UK and Germany, PocketLaw already helps teams at +1,000 SMEs and start-ups optimise their legal processes, including BabyBjorn, Voi, Kry/Livi, and Estrid.
