Ben was founded in 2019 by Sebastian Fallert (CEO), previously MD UK at Secret Escapes, and David Duckworth (COO) who has a background in payments infrastructure in banking.

The company was founded on a belief that the compensation and benefits sector required urgent modernisation, as the landscape is currently complex and fragmented. Ben works with a variety of third party brokers and integrates with HRIS and other systems to allow employers globally to easily start using its software and offer employees bespoke, premium benefit options.

Ben serves 150+ customers globally, including some of the world’s fastest growing global businesses including Pleo, Improbable, Heyjobs, Thriva, Thread, Lightricks, Chattermill and Maze. The company consists of a team of 30 employees, mostly based in London.
