My career started in Search
As a university sophomore, I interned at Google in Palo Alto in their first internship program and joined full-time upon graduation. Being part of small, dynamic and passionate teams in both the US and UK was not only an incredible experience, but one that allowed me to witness first-hand the incredible potential for new ventures to change the world. Technology has been central to my career ever since.
I find the intersection between technology, purpose and climate inspiring
As a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group in both London and New York, I delved deeper into climate tech. Amongst my responsibilities, I advised the UK Government on their strategy for emerging energy technologies, with a dual mandate of economic and environmental returns. I've also supported a major oil company to develop its renewable energy strategy, including generating a phased pipeline of potential investments to diversify beyond fossil fuels.
Exponential potential
As I look to the future, while the pace of innovation has never been as rapid as it is today, it seems only likely to accelerate from here! Being a mother of two young children has only made me more excited to support Atomico's efforts to partner with game-changers in helping drive our shared future. I believe we have agency over where technology can take us and so raising capital for founders that know profit and purpose are mutually reinforcing is not only inspiring to me, it's imperative.
Education extends beyond the classroom
I earned double BA's from Stanford University in International Relations and Linguistics and an MBA from Harvard Business School. At Stanford, I rowed crew and the lessons learned still resonate: work hard, give your best, have fun and support your teammates; like so many things in life, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
My Mastermind specialist subject would be… 90s movies
I've lived on three continents, spent time on five, and speak an "interesting range" of languages that I’m always excited to try to put to use! Consider me your go-to pub quiz/general knowledge teammate, especially if you need 1980s-2000s film references... "Life moves pretty fast; if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
